Teen boy accused of trying to sell iPad stolen from a classroom

KANEOHE (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police arrested a 17-year-old boy who allegedly tried to sell a stolen iPad in Kaneohe Saturday.

A 62-year-old man reported that his iPad was taken from his classroom on October 11th.

Investigators say a student heard that the suspect was selling an iPad and made arrangements to meet with him. Officers made the arrest after determining that the item was the one that was reported stolen.

The case is classified as detaining stolen property. The suspect was released pending further investigation.
