SAN JOSE, Calif. (HawaiiNewsNow) - Chandler Jones caught a 37-yard touchdown pass from Matt Faulkner with 36 seconds remaining, and San Jose State beat Hawaii 28-27 on Friday night in a wild game that included six turnovers by each team.
Joey Iosefa scored on a 32-yard touchdown run in the 4th to give Hawaii a 27-20 lead.
But the Spartans Travis Johnson blocked the extra point and Duke Ihenacho returned it for turned out to be a pivotal 2-point conversion.
UH falls to 3-3 (1-1 in WAC), they return for their homecoming game on October 22 when they host New Mexico State.
