Coming Up on Hawaii News Now Friday

A Hawaii woman learns her fate for her role on a ponzi scheme. Kapua Keolanui admitted to federal charges and pled guilty; today Judge David Ezra sentenced her to prison. We'll have details from federal court.

A Hawaii soldier has filed a lawsuit against Burger King -- also in federal court. The soldier claims the burger he ate contained dangerous material that put him in the hospital. More on the lawsuit and what he says was in his burger, tonight at 5.

Wind & rain on this Aloha Friday. Is that what we can expect for the weekend? Guy Hagi tells us what's in store.

And developing now -- while the UH football team is on the road at this hour taking on San Jose State. Mike Cherry tells us about a massive change in the works for the Mountain West Conference -- the Warrior's new conference next year.

These are just some of the reasons to watch Stephanie Lum and me tonight on Hawaii News Now at 5 and 5:30. See you then.

Aloha,

Shawn Ching
