HONOLULU (HAWAII NEWS NOW) - A 62-year-old Miloli'i man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of arson in connection with a house fire.
Kona patrol officers and Fire Department responded to a fire at an unoccupied house on Kai Avenue in Miloli'i Wednesday night.
A fire Department investigation with the assistance of a the fire departments arson canine known as 'Kaimi' determined that the fire was delibretly set.
Damages from the fire were estimated at $480,000.
Donald McKay of Milioli'i Village is being held at the Kona police station pending further investigation.
