Coming Up on Hawaii News Now Thursday

165 trees, yards of grass, and loads of topsoil -- all in time for the APEC Summit Meetings in November? You may have seen what's been going on Nimitz Highway lately. But how much is all this work costing .. and will it be done in time for the meetings of world leaders, now just a few weeks away.

Hawaii singer Cecilio Rodriguez appeared in a California court today on charges he molested two sisters in the late 90's. Both girls were under the age of 11 at the time of the alleged assaults. Tonight, how Cecilio responded to the charges and what's next for the popular island musician.

Also, Hawaii men take a stand .. and take to the streets to put an end to domestic violence. We'll have full coverage of their march, starting tonight at 5.

Also, Guy Hagi has the latest on our weekend weather outlook and what you can expect in the way of surf.

These are just some of the reasons to watch Stephanie Lum and me tonight on Hawaii News Now at 5 and 5:30. See you then.

Aloha,

Shawn Ching
