Cosmopolitan Magazine chooses Hawaii Bachelor for competition

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Cosmopolitan Magazine chose Hawaii's representative for their 2011 Bachelor of The Year competition, Chris Pemberton.

Cosmo's annual Bachelor of the year competition has 52 candidates, including Pemberton. The 28-year old Hawaii National Guard was nominated by a friend who says that "Chris is hot and super intelligent and thinks of others before himself."

He tells Cosmo readers that he is trustworthy and enjoys being active. The Honolulu resident also says that he likes it when girls wear rompers. His words of advice to women, "Men aren't just looking for some girl to hook up with. We have an eye out for someone we can spend the rest of our life with."

Voters can cast votes for any of the 52 single dudes as they compete for the title of should be Cosmo's 2011 Bachelor of the Year. Voters will be entered to win a $250 American Express gift card. Voting ends October 16th.
