HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Diane von Furstenberg announced Thursday that her designer clothing store DVF, which opened its first Hawaii location earlier this month, will hold a grand opening celebration in November.

Featuring a design concept similar to the recently opened Soho location in New York City, the 2,162 square foot store features "the sophisticated DVF aesthetic, with its stainless steel, signature brass twig detailing, and black and white oak fixtures," according to the company.

In a statement, von Furstenberg was enthusiastic about her company's latest location.

"To be surrounded by beauty is truly a gift, and I know my designs will be at home on the island of Oahu," von Furstenberg said. "So many of my designs are inspired by nature and beauty… so I am so glad to find a home for them somewhere as breathtaking as Honolulu!"

The Ala Moana store offers the DVF Ready-to-Wear and Accessory collections, as well as the company's new fragrance, DIANE.
