HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Hawaii's Hispanic community is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month this weekend and everyone's invited!
The Hispanic Heritage Festival and Health Fair takes place Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Kapiolani Park Bandstand. Admission is free, but each visitor is asked to donate one can of food at the front entrance for the Hawaii Foodbank.
This year's theme is "Many Backgrounds, Many Stories… One American Spirit." Expect a full lineup of live entertainment, food booths, crafts, cultural displays, specialty booths, children's activities and information from different community/health agencies. Sign up to win a variety of prizes including the grand prize - a trip for two to Las Vegas courtesy of Vacations Hawaii.
