This year's extravaganza features new inspiring and provocative IONA experiences, more than 30 interactive dancers, a living fountain, pool spirits, Hawaii Pacific University tumblers, the Mayan Calendar Boys (based on the myth of Quetzalcoatl - the powerful winged serpent) and never before seen characters such as Tequila Sunrise, Mayatai, Red Hibiscus, the Orchid and the Cactus.
Sheraton Waikiki senior executive Sous chef Colin Hazama, notably heralded, as a semifinalist for the James Beard Rising Chef Award, will create an elaborate culinary feast poignantly paired with JMD vintages and a seductive chocolate tasting.
