PACIFIC PALISADES (HawaiiNewsNow) - A stranded paraglider has been rescued from above Pacific Palisades.
According to the Honolulu Fire Department, the paraglider launched from Windward Oahu and was blown off course Thursday. He landed about a quarter-mile below a Koolau ridge.
The fire department's Air One helicopter located him Thursday, but he was in an area where he could not be reached before nightfall. Officials said he was not injured.
