UH vs UC Davis Football preview

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Most visitors come to Hawaii for some rest and relaxation.U-C Davis isn't so lucky.

They're facing an angry UH team tomorrow looking for revenge at home after two recent losses.

The Aggie's like the Warriors are 0-2 away from home. However unlike the Aggie's the success of Hawaii's season may already be on the brink of trouble.

Thankfully the Warriors say they won't have to look far for a recipe to success.

We started 1-2 last year and walked away with a 10-win season and a co-WAC championship. There's still a lot of games left to go out there and get W's. And that's what we're looking forward to right now. That's what we're excited about. And we're trying to turn things around right now, like how we did last year.

But Saturday's win is not a given. The Aggie's have a history too...

Wins over San Jose state last season and a tight contest with Boise State, are proof they can hang with division one opponents.

We know they're a good team. On film it shows that they can move the ball. We've seen them move the ball on pac-12 schools like Arizona State. So we're not going to take these guys lightly. We know they're a good team but we just gotta have that chip on our shoulder and protect this house.

In order to do just that...

The Warriors are hoping to overcome injuries in the receiving core and an inconsistent offensive line.

on the other side of things...

Hawaii's secondary says they're taking things personally...

after all...

Three quarters of all scores against UH have come through the air.

It starts with yourself, it starts with me, like I know there's a lot of stuff that I need to do as a player to get better. It's just everybody has to take self determination and self discipline, to buy into what coach Mack is saying, for what our coaches is trying to do for us. And it all starts with trust as a team and I think we got that.

The Warriors and Aggie's kick off Saturday at the Aloha Stadium at 6pm.
