HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Cinema Italiano launches its eighth film festival from September 22 to 25 at Kahala Mall's Consolidated Theatres. Six contemporary films and four Slow Food short films will be shown. All films are in Italian with English subtitles.
The opening night gala takes place tonight (Thursday, September 22) from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Enjoy a taste of Italy and bit of bubbly and a special performance by Hawaii Opera Theatre on the roof top above the Kahala Theatres. Scrumptious food and beverages provided by; Baci Bistro, Cafe Sistina, Che Pasta, Hoku's, Kevin Two Boots, La Gelateria, Martini and Rossi, Mediterraneo, Peroni, R.Fields Wine Company, Roberto PizzaParty, Salt Kitchen and Wine Tasting Bar, Sabrina's, Waialua Soda Works, Waiwera and Whole Foods.
Tickets to the opening night reception are $45 (cash or checks only) and may be purchased online at www.cinemaitalianoinhawaii.org, by phone at (808)861-9945 or at the following Kahala Mall store locations: Adore, SoHa Living, Therapy Boutique and Magnolia.
Tickets for all other films follow regular theater prices: $10.25 general admission and $8.00 matinee (before 4 p.m.) Discounts for seniors, military and keiki also apply.
