HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Parents and students of Likelike Elementary may get some answers on Wednesday about the fate of their school.
The plan to close the school is on hold right now.
However, there is enough concern that the Kalihi-Palama Neighborhood Board has it on its agenda Wednesday night.
The meeting will be held at the Kalihi Union Church at 7 p.m.
A review by the Department of Education recently determined that closing Likelike Elementary could save at least $1 million per year.
