Chatting with Billy V - Delores Hope, Alec Baldwin, Charlie Sheen

(HawaiiNewsNow) - Dolores Hope, the wife of late entertainer Bob Hope, died on Monday of natural causes at the age of 102. Hope, a singer who put her career on hold after her marriage, died in Los Angeles. Bob Hope, her husband of almost 70 years, died in July 2003 at the age of 100.

Alec Baldwin's decision to bail on Sunday night's Emmy Awards was no joke. Or rather, it wasn't over the cutting of a joke from the ceremony's opening segment. Though reports said over the weekend that the "30 Rock" star had decided not to attend the Emmy's because a joke about NewsCorp's phone-tapping scandal had been axed from the segment, Baldwin said he couldn't make the show because he had a previous commitment to attend singer Tony Bennett's 85th birthday party at New York's Metropolitan Opera House that night.

Sources say Charlie Sheen is close to settling his lawsuit against Warner Bros., which fired the actor last winter. Sheen fought back in March by filing a $100 million suit demanding payment for unproduced episodes and compensation. The settlement is expected to be in the eight-figure range. Warner Bros. denied there is a settlement and declined to comment further.
