No tsunami after 7.3 quake in Fiji

FIJI (HawaiiNewsNow) - A powerful 7.3 magnitude earthquake has rocked THE Fiji region.

According to the U.S.G.S the quake hit 74 miles south south-west of Ndoi Island, Fiji.

It was at a depth of 368.5 miles.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake struck at 9:30 a.m. Hawaii time and did not generate a tsunami.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center says that a destructive Pacific-wide Tsunami is not expected and there is no Tsunami threat to Hawaii.
