MORE ON DEADLY CRASH THAT KILLED AN HPD OFFICER AND INJURED ANOTHER

We have team coverage tonight of the deadly crash that killed one officer and injured another. A lot has happened since early this morning when the collision occurred . Brooks Baehr is live at the crash scene with the latest.

LEARNING MORE ABOUT FALLEN OFFICER, ERIC FONTES

We're also learning more about the officer who died -- 45 year old Eric Fontes. He is the 42nd HPD officer to die in the line of duty. Jim Mendoza brings us that part of the story.

SUSPECT IN CRASH IN POLICE CUSTODY

What do we know about the man who police say caused the deadly incident? Minna Sugimoto has more on that from HPD Headquarters, including what the man says happened right before impact.
