HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Oahu teenager convicted in the beating death of a taxi driver was set to be sentenced Wednesday.
Michael Robles who faces up to 20 years in prison will have to wait until Wednesday, October 12th to be sentenced.
The sentencing was postponed when the Defense attorney discovered new evidence.
The 19 year old was found guilty of manslaughter for attacking Charlys Ty Tang, 41, last year in Waipahu.
Robles blamed the killing on his co-defendant Kilani Derego. However, Derego says he wasn't with Robles that night.
The new evidence could play factor is how long Robles' probation should be.
