HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A man accused of a deadly stabbing at the Mayor Wright housing complex in Kalihi over the weekend made his initial appearance at Honolulu District Court Tuesday.
Takson Krstoth, 21, is charged with second-degree murder. He remains in custody, unable to post $250,000 bail.
Police say the suspect used a knife to stab TJ Mori, 24, in his back following an argument at the housing complex.
The victim was a father of three -- ages five, four, and one -- with a fourth child due in December. His grieving relatives described him as an attentive family man who treated people with respect.
A preliminary hearing will be held Thursday, unless an Oahu grand jury indicts Krstoth before then.
