Skeletal remains found by hikers in Palolo Valley those of a Honolulu man

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The city Medical Examiner's office has identified the skeletal remains found in Palolo Valley last month as those of a 38-year-old Honolulu man.

Honolulu police opened an unattended death investigation after hikers stumbled upon the remains August 15th.

The manner of death is listed as a suicide.
