DBET discusses Chinese Trade Mission

(HawaiiNewsNow) - More now on the Chinese trade mission. Milton Kwock joins us from the State Department of Business, Economic Development & Tourism.

There will be 13 buyers coming in to look at Hawai'i made products, which they will export. They will help get that product into china. The import process will be helped by the china government.

They're looking for stuff made in Hawai'i that could be good for like giving as gifts or purchasing for one's self in China.

It's going to be kicking off the china new year which starts off the spring festival season. It will be high-end products giving forgiven for governments. Gifts. Like food products, wood maybe.
