HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A man accused of flashing a police badge to pull off a home invasion made his initial court appearance on Tuesday.
James Kaleopa'a, 26, is charged with five counts of first-degree robbery, kidnapping, burglary and impersonating a police officer.
According to police, on Aug. 2, Kaleopa'a and three others approached several victims in an Aiea driveway.
They allegedly flashed a gun and badges claiming they were police before getting away with cash and personal property.
The three other suspects are still on the loose.
