HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Your child's school could win a part of $10,000 in cash prizes.
Thursday marked the kick-off for the "Inspired in Hawaii" K-12 poster, essay and video contest for 2011.
The contest is an opportunity for Hawaii's Keiki to dream big and make Hawaii a better place.
Contest Objective: Each entry must identify an existing problem in Hawaii and offer a thoughtful solution to the problem. Students must also include a supporting statement which demonstrates a clear connection between their project and the life of Clarence T. C. Ching.
The Poster contest is K-12, the Essay is 6-12 and the Video is 9-12. Organizers say there will be even more winners this year! The deadline for entries is Nov. 11, 2011.
