Coming Up on Hawaii News Now Wednesday

Aloha from Hawaii News Now ... Here's what we're working on for our 5 and 5:30 newscast.

SHOWDOWN OVER WAIKIKI HOTEL

With yet another turn in the on-going legal saga over management of the Waikiki Edition Hotel, there may be a physical showdown today over who has access to the property. Details are still coming in but our Brooks Baehr is on the scene and will have the latest tonight.

BIG SURF, BIG DAMAGE

With surf on the way down, yesterday's big south shore waves left behind damage in its wake. Tim Sakahara has the latest on that. Also, Ben Gutierrez will update us on the surf forecast for the next few days.

FORMER SCHOOL SECRETARY SENTENCED

Some may call it a slap on the wrist but today a former school secretary at Pearl Ridge Elementary was sentenced for stealing nearly $70,000 from the school. She didn't receive any jail time. Minna Sugimoto has that story.

I hope you'll join Stephanie Lum and me for these stories and more tonight at 5 and 5:30. See you then!

Aloha,

Shawn Ching
