3.2 quake near Big Island

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A magnitude 3.2 earthquake struck about 96 miles south east of Hilo Wednesday morning.

Some residents in Mountain View felt the quake which the U.S. Geological Survey said happened at 9:02 a.m. at a depth of 6.3 miles.

The quake that was about 285 miles south east of Honolulu did not trigger a tsunami.
