HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Honolulu Fire Department continues their search for a diver who's been missing since Monday morning.
According to HFD, water conditions have improved as crews resumed their search at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Officials say New York resident Matthew Curley, 28, was exploring a sunken vessel on a guided dive led by Island Divers when he vanished.
On Tuesday, search crews from Island Divers found a fin floating in waters one-mile from the site where Curley was diving.
The Coast Guard suspended their search just before 10 p.m. Tuesday.
In addition to aerial and boat searches, HFD says crews are combing the beach for any sign of the diver.
We'll have more details on this story as it becomes available.
