Makawao (HawaiiNewsNow) - Happening Wednesday on Maui. The Dept of Land and Natural Resources is holding a public hearing on a draft habitat conservation plan for the proposed windfarm in East Maui.
Auwahi Wind Energy wants to build the 21 megawatt farm including and electrical collection system, substation, and a 27 mile construction access route.
