Army Bans "Toe Shoes"

The Army has issued a complete ban on those popular shoes that look like feet.  The Military Times reports says that it "detracts from a professional military image."

Soldiers reportedly aren't allowed to wear them while conducting physical training in military formation or while wearing the fitness uniform. The Army is getting some flak for the decision.

Meanwhile, local commanders for the Marine Corps can decide to ban the shoes, but there is no branch wide ruling.
