CONSUMER ALERT: Gyoza recall in Hawaii

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Hawai'i State Department of Health is warning that certain packages of Ajinomoto Brand Vegetable Gyoza Dumplings may actually contain Seafood Dumplings which contain shrimp and fish (Pollock).

Individuals who eat the mislabeled product and are allergic or have a severe sensitivity to shellfish and fish may run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction.

Consumers who have purchased the Ajinomoto Brand Vegetable Gyoza Dumplings with lot code 231751 printed on the side of the package are urged to return it to the place of purchase. No illnesses related to the product have been reported to date in Hawaii.
