Coast Guard rescues kayaker in Yokohama Bay

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A kayaker was rescued in waters off Yokohama Bay Sunday evening.

According to the Coast Guard, the 46 year old was separated from his partner by high winds and was blown three miles out to sea.

It happened just south of Yokohama Bay on the west side of Oahu.

The kayaker's partner called the Coast Guard when he was two hours late getting.

No injuries were reported.
