Victorino's suspension reduced to 2 games

PHILADELPHIA (HawaiiNewsNow) - Maui's Shane Victorino has had his suspension for taking part in a benches-clearing brawl at San Francisco on Aug. 5 reduced from three to two games.

The suspension will start with Thursday's game at Arizona and won't play at Washington on Friday.

The Phillies All-Star center fielder appealed the original suspension of three games. Victorino was the only player suspended for his actions during the brawl.

Four players were fined, including Giants pitcher Ramon Ramirez.
