In Your Community - Jazz, Waianae Town Meeting

(HawaiiNewsNow) -  For all you jazz lovers , come out to hear the cool sounds of artists Dean Taba and Noel Okimoto as the Plaza Club hosts "Inaugural Jazz Night".  Music begins at 6 o'clock.  Before the musicians take the stage, The Plaza Club is hosting its happy hour from 2 to 7, with a special 50% discount on wine.  There is a $10 cover charge for non-members. The people at Finance Factors recently donated more than $7,000 to one local charity.  The money was raised through the financial institution's annual charity breakfast.  Proceeds benefit "Hawaii Helping the Hungry Have Hope".  The charity provides services for Hawaii's Hungry and homeless ranging from Kaka'ako to Downtown Honolulu and West Oahu.

There will be a town hall meeting focusing on "Education" will be held in Waianae.  The complex area Superintendent of Nanakuli and Waianae, along with Kamehameha Schools' Chief Executive Officer will be attending.  On the agenda, is public school performances, improvement plans for the future, and the amount of money appropriated for schools in the district.  The meeting begins at 7 o'clock at the Waianae district park.
