(HawaiiNewsNow) - Three Disney timeshare executives were fired because maintenance fees are too low to cover actual costs.  Sales were suspended because new fees need state approval.  Disney confirms bringing in Claire Bilby, a Senior Vice President to take over the timeshare operation.   Aulani opens in less than 2 weeks.

Tesoro Hawaii had another shutdown. A piping system failed Monday.  Tesoro was restarting affected units yesterday.  Earlier this summer an electrical outage caused a longer shutdown than this one, but without any major supply disruption.

The local solar energy company Sopogy opens its new headquarters this Friday at Airport Trade Center, 550 Paiea Street.  The operation will include a rooftop product showroom.

Groundbreaking has been held for a new cargo terminal at Hilo harbor, but don't let the word groundbreaking fool you.  For a few months the work will be dredging the harbor itself. 

The 3rd annual Lavaman Triathlon is coming soon.  It will be held, Sunday, August 28th at Keauhou Beach Resort.
