Warriors practice in full pads at Stadium

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The UH football team was able to break away from TC Ching complex Tuesday. Not to the universities pool area, like Friday, but to Aloha Stadium for a full pads practice. Head Coach Greg McMackin wanted his players to see the new renovations and get a feel for the $1.7 million upgrade to the field itself.

After the crisp session, the players raved.

"I think it really boosts everybody's energy. We have new uniforms this year, you see the new turf. I think it just brings a lot of excitement to the season and motivates the guys a lot" said quarterback Bryant Moniz.

Added cornerback Mike Edwards "This stadium is amazing. I can't wait to make big plays in this stadium and be part of this Hawaiian family. It's going to be great".
