Haleiwa Brush fire under control

HALEIWA (HawaiiNewsNow) - A brush fire in Haleiwa is under control.  Firefighters brought the under control at 4:40 p.m. The first call went out at 3:15 p.m.

The fire burned 10 acres including about 5 acres of cultivated Noni Trees said Capt. Terry Seelig, Honolulu Fire Department spokesman. It did not damage any property and did not come close to any structures.

The fire was on the Waialua side of Paalaa Rd.
