HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - With the 2012 election about a year away, democratic candidate Ed Case got a jump start on his U.S. senate bid.
With his wife by his side, Case untied the traditional maile lei at his headquarters at Ward Warehouse Sunday.
About 100 supporters came out to show their support for the former congressman.
Case says he's excited about the challenge and thinks he's the best fit for the job.
"We've got the experience, the knowledge, and moreover we've got the approach that people are looking for.
People don't want the insider politics like Washington today. They don't want this partisan warfare. What they want is somebody that just goes in and tries to get the job done", said Case.
