In Your Community - Kaiser Lunchtime Walk, Moiliili Cleanup, Amy Hanaialii

(HawaiiNewsNow) - Get moving during your lunch break today. Kaiser Permanente is holding it's "7th Annual Start Steppin' Lunchtime Walk and Mini Health Fair" in downtown Honolulu. Starting at noon, participants can take a half-mile walk around Tamarind Park. You can also get a free blood pressure screening, skin testing and body fat analysis.

Help clean up the streets of Moiliili tomorrow. Volunteers for pride in Moiliili cut overgrown grass, pick up trash and paint over graffiti. Just show up tomorrow morning at 8 o'clock in the Moiliili library parking lot on Algaroba Street.

Explore the lush grounds of Lanikuhonua in Kapolei while enjoying music by some of Hawaii's top performers, including Amy Hanaialii. A special concert takes place Sunday from 4:15 to 9 p-m in Koolina.  Lanikuhonua was known as a playground for Hawaiian Royalty. Tickets are $30 dollars and can be purchased at Ihilani Resort or through the Honolulu box office.
