HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow)-CSI: NY will have a 9/11-related story this upcoming season, which will air just after the tenth anniversary of the attacks on America. Gary Sinise's character, Mac Taylor, will get some answers related to his wife, whose remains were never recovered following the attacks. Mac's wife, Claire, played by actress Jaime Ray Newman, will appear through flashbacks.
Eddie Murphy is returning to animated features, as the Shrek and Mulan star is set to voice the animated lead character in the live-action/animated hybrid Hong Kong Phooey, based on Hanna-Barbera's animated TV series about a kung-fu-fighting pup and his feline sidekick. Murphy will voice Penry, a mild-mannered dog who stumbles into a secret ceremony and is accidentally granted mystical powers, including the ability to walk, talk and do kung fu.

America's Most Wanted creator John Walsh is getting a special Emmy Award in tribute to his just-canceled weekly show. The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences board voted this week to give Walsh its Governors Award at the Creative Arts Emmys on September 10 in Los Angeles.
