MANOA (HawaiiNewsNow) - The first practice for the University of Hawaii football team begins Thursday afternoon.
The offensive line will hit the field first. The unit lost all five starters from last year's squad.
It was a group that allowed Bryant Moniz to become the nation's leading passer and Alex Green to rush for over 1,000 yards.
Head coach Greg McMackin is confident the new guys can get the job done.
"Our offensive line is young, but athletic," McMackin said. "We've recruited taller guys and I believe offensively that we're going to be fine."
Coach Mack says the first two-a-day isn't until next Wednesday.
The Warriors season opener against Colorado is set for Sept. 3 at Aloha Stadium.
