Mirren got 18 percent of the vote. Runners-up included model Elle MacPherson, Jennifer Lopez, Pippa Middleton and Kate Winslette.

Libyan leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, currently bombing his own citizens in an attempt to keep from being overthrown, is looking to hire a New York public-relations firm to improve his image. Theyʻre looking for a firm to head daily news conferences and spread the good word on his "moral" and "legal" claims to power. The letter suggests the Libyan government wants to conceal the plan, stating, "We can formalize any deal with your organization through a third party to help move things forward fast."

Did you like NBC's "The Voice"? Do you like "American Idol"? Then you're in luck, because in another instance of TV network wisdom, both shows will be running at the same time next year. "The Voice" will air its second season next February during the same months as "American Idol", although not necessarily on the same nights.
