Farmers Hawaii Hot Shots Video Contest



Become a Traffic Safety Hot Shot...And Win Money for Your School!
Enter the Farmers Hawaii "Hot Shots" Video Contest

Help make our streets safer for all of us! Your school could win up to $1,500 for producing a video to promote and heighten traffic and safety awareness. Videos can include traffic safety topics such as speeding, driving distractions, pedestrian safety, or drinking and driving.

The Farmers Insurance Hot Shots Video Contest is open to all Hawaii High School and Middle School students. Individual students or teams of students are eligible to submit one (1) video representing their school.

There will be separate awards for the three (3) top High School and Middle School productions. The first place videos will be aired on TV as public service announcements (PSA). The prizes are: First - $1,500, Second - $1,000 and Third - $500! Farmers Insurance Hawaii will select a panel of judges to review all contest entries. Videos will be judged based on creativity, video production quality, acting/directing/cinematography, and incorporation of traffic safety tips.

Video entries should be submitted as a 27-second PSA spot in either mp4 or Quick Time format, preferably recorded at AVC/H.264 compression.

Video entries are due October 14, 2011. Winners will be announced October 28, 2011.
