MAUNAWILI (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu firefighters were called to aid an injured hiker Saturday morning.

The woman was found near the entrance of the Olomana trail with a leg injury just before 9:00 a.m. A staging area was set up at the Maunawili District Park.

She was carried out and transported to a hospital for treatment.
