HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Hawaii Coast Guard crews will wrap up training for an environmental disaster on Friday.
Twenty members will be at Keehi Habor for response exercises, drilling themselves on how to handle a major oil spill.
To prepare for the yearly exercise, the Coast Guard crews first go through a week of classroom training.
The Coast Guard was at Barber's Point earlier this week so they could simulate an oil spill in deeper water.
