HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A 25-year-old man is dead following a head-on crash on the Big Island Wednesday night.
The man was identified as Isaiah Lindsey of a Kamuela.
According to officials, the crash happened on Kawaihae Road when a Ford Bronco collided with a Toyota pickup truck.
Lindsey and a 31-year-old Kamuela woman were pinned inside the Bronco.
Lindsey was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he later died. The woman was listed in serious condition.
The driver of the Toyota pickup truck, a 27-year-old woman, was treated and released with minor injuries.
Officials say Lindsey was not wearing a seatbelt.
It is unknown if speed, alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash.

This is the 15th traffic fatality on the Big Island this year, compared to 18 at the same time last year.
