HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A body was found floating in waters off Point Panic Tuesday morning.
Coast Guard, Sheriff and Honolulu Fire Department rescue crews had been searching for a missing man in the area.
Fishermen reported seeing a man jump off the rocky area and into the water at about 1 a.m.
While the fishermen did not see him hit the water, they reported hearing a splash.
Rescue crews aboard a Dolphin helicopter and a small patrol boat searched the shoreline.
According to officials, an abandoned car was found nearby, with the keys still inside.
Officials visited the residence of the vehicle's registered address, but no one was home.
We have a crew on the scene and will have the latest information on HawaiiNewsNow.com.
