WAIALUA (HawaiiNewsNow) - Members of the Honolulu Police Department's Specialized Services Division were called to a residence in Waialua after a woman discovered a pineapple grenade while digging in the yard.
According to officials, the call came in just before 2 p.m. Monday on Kawowo Street.
HPD called for assistance from the military Explosive Ordnance Detail to transport the grenade.
No injuries were reported.
