HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Snakes aren't allowed in Hawaii, but people keep turning them in. On Sunday, another one was delivered to the state, making it a busy month for authorities. A one-and-a-half foot long ball python was turned in to the Hawaiian Humane Society. As part of the state's amnesty program, people can turn in their illegal animals without facing prosecution. The humane society is open 24 hours a day for drop offs.
