HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A former Kaneohe Marine will be the recipient of the Medal of Honor.
In 2009, Dakota Meyer braved enemy fire and charged on foot into a remote Taliban-controlled village in Afghanistan.
He found four of his team members shot to death, but was able to retrieve their bodies.
Meyer will be the first living Marine to receive the honor in more than four decades
