HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Millions of dollars are coming to Hawaii to fix up the airports.
A total of $2.9 million was approved by the Federal Aviation Administration for renovations in Hilo, Hana and Kalaupapa.
Most of it, more than $2.5 million, will go to the Hilo Airport. It will be used to fix up the taxiway, which has cracks and severe ponding.
The Hana Airport will receive $150,000 to improve the terminal building.
The remaining $150,000 will be used to renovate the Kalaupapa terminal.
