Small kicks for Women's World Cup

It didn't have the draw of, say, the Super Bowl -- but there were still fans in Hawaii checking out the women's World Cup of Soccer Championship between the U.S. and Japan. We'll have recap of the match and some reaction.

It's also the day after the "Hawaiian Punch," Waipahu's Brian Viloria, became the World Flyweight Boxing Champion. Mike Cherry is back with the fight highlights.

In other news, a homeless man is scheduled to make his first court appearance tomorrow in connection with the beating and robbery of another homeless man ... we'll have some pics of some sharks that forced lifeguards to close some beaches on Hawaii Island ... and it's more than "my dog has fleas" at the 41st annual Ukulele Festival.

And Malika Dudley has your forecast for the coming week.

Join us for those stories and more tonight on Hawaii News Now with Lisa Kubota.
