HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A new report released Thursday by the Trust for America's Health and The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation says Hawaii has the fifth lowest adult obesity rate in the country.
According to the study, Hawaii has a rate of 23 percent.
Fifteen years ago, Hawaii was the lease obese state in the nation with a rate of about 11 percent.
That designation now belongs to Colorado, the only state with a rate under 20 percent.
Mississippi has the highest rate for the seventh year in a row.
